Cornell to USC Cinema-Television Transfer Hopeful

I'm interested in transferring to USC School of Cinematic Arts for the fall of my junior year. I love it hear at Cornell, but am not happy if I'm not doing something in film. I got into the school as a high school senior but obviously decided to attend Cornell instead. In regards to financial aid for transfers, how generous is USC? The maximum amount of loans I'm willing to take out is around 15K a year, because I'll already have 20K from Cornell. Given this, is it possible to get a package like that, the rest being covered by grants? Also, how difficult is it to get into the production program as a transfer?

Well if your last name really is "Zemeckis", I don't think it'd be pretty hard to get in...

It isn't....bump...

Bump again...

I'm sure you've seen these, but just to get the conversation going...

This one says, "There are very limited number of Cinematic Arts scholarships available...." :(

But it's always worth a try- put in your application and see what happens!

usc is not generous with transfer students. My Federal Efc is 0, and my institutional efc is 1,000; and i got about 10,000 in loans.

So expect another 20 K in loans.

Heck, that's more generous than Cornell is with me. That makes me happy!

your efc isnt 0 though
