Cornell Tours

I'm visiting east-coast colleges this week and am interested in visiting Cornell, specifically engineering. However, I am having trouble finding information on the website regarding tour dates and times for the engineering school.
This is what I'm looking at: http://www.engineering.cornell.edu/explore/visiting-college/index.cfm
Am I missing something? Are engineering-specific tours even offered?

Help, please!

Isn't this a strange time to visit? I think most tours are offered closer to when most students apply.

http://www.cornell.edu/visiting/ithaca/walking_tours.cfm

Thanks biophilic... from that page it doesn't seem as if they have engineering-specific tours though... ah well.

juxtaposn: I thought a lot of students toured in the summer, when they had more free time... I'm doing a lot of touring this summer in any case. Then in the fall I'll do overnights at maybe two or three colleges I REALLLLY like, based on the summer tours + web research.

I am pretty sure there are engineering only tours. There was an ILR only tour after the general tour when I went. That was awesommmmme because it was only one other person in the tour (altho engineering is larger than ILR).

Have fun! Since it's Summer the campus will be gorges! Speaking of...visit the gorges! That's the one thing I regret not doing!

They should have an "information session", rather than a walking tour. With ILR, the information session also doubles as a walking tour because we only have one building. But the bigger schools like Engineering and A&S can't do that since they have so many buildings.

there are engineering tours! I am an engineering ambassador, the group that gives the tours and they do try to give regular tours during the summer. I reccommmend calling the engineering admisions office and asking. this site has the exact times: http://www.engineering.cornell.edu/prospective/undergraduate/visit/index.cfm

If that doesn't work, if you call them, they will often try to arrange someone to give you a personal tour.

Heh, there are plenty of engineers still around, I'm pretty sure you could just corral one to come and give you a tour.
