Cornell transfer agreement?

<p>I am very interested in information science major at Cornell CALS. I found that CALS has transfer agreements with several colleges. This is from CALS website: "these agreements stipulate that students who attend an agreement institution, who are pursuing an associate's degree, and meet the transfer criteria are guaranteed admission."</p>

<p>So, am I 100% guaranteed to transfer to Cornell if I earn an AA degree at the college which has transfer agreement with Cornell and fulfill the requirements?</p>

<p>Its not so black and white as that. I’ve a friend that tried that and he was rejected. Its mostly to encourage more applicants to apply. Try your luck at a UC.</p>
