Cornell Transfer Fall 2021

ohhh, yesss. shooo, i forgot to think about that.

You have the links to the thread or stats of TO from last year? OMG I’m so worried now. :frowning:

I’ve never seen the TO portion broken out separately. But you’re applying for SHA right? They tend to take a lot more transfers relative to their total class size so that’s a good thing!

my portal to check financial aid & to do list is disabled and will not allow me access, I don’t know if this is the same for everybody though.

yes, SHA for me. And wow, I didn’t know this, thank you thank you.

Did you get in?

Has anyone RD Cornell received Financial aid info yet?

Could you show a screenshot of what the “Chat With Us” function on the portal looks like? Can’t see it on mine and can’t tell if I’m just being dumb…

It’s also off for me now cuz it’s the weekend I guess, no one is working. Let’s check again tomorrow.

I have been stalking some past forums and I have noticed that if your Transfer Transcript moves from “Initiated” to “Ordered” that means that you are accepted, some people noticed this change the day they got accepted. Also, your checklist will disappear the morning you are getting a decision and you will get an email saying that there is an update. Usually decisions come out around 3pm and should start rolling out next Tuesday and onward.

I have little hope for me but thought this would be helpful for others.

where do you find the transfer transcript stuff?

is that only for if you applied for financial aid?

Yes, it is only if you applied for financial aid. You find it immediately when you login into to check your Financial Aid status: Check Application Status | Financial Aid.

If I didn’t apply for financial aid is there any other signs I should look out for?

Same here, I’ve been digging around too and found out about something called the “PIN trick” which basically can predict an acceptance/rejection. I don’t know how it’s performed or if it can even be performed at this stage in the admissions process.

I do not know if the PIN trick is applicable for our application round but the theory is that if you put in your email that means that a decision has been made on your application.

Put in your email where?

Okay so this is how the PIN trick allegedly works according to previous threads. Click on the link I’ve posted above which will take you to the decision portal (Cornell uses a different portal for decisions.) Click on “Forgot your PIN or Password” and enter your email address. If the portal states “We were unable to locate your PIN” that allegedly means that a decision has NOT been made on your application. If a decision has been made then it will display the time that it will be available.

How can it predict an acceptance or rejection?

It DOES NOT predict acceptance/waitlist/rejection, it only signifies whether or not a decision has been made.
