I applied March 15 and heard back today. Yes, it’s contradictory to “rolling admissions”. Idk if that’s worth any salt but it’s just an observation from the past 3 years in this forum.
Gotcha, thank you! I guess I can only rely on waiting to hear from them lol since I can’t really determine when I’d be getting my update, or why, or what
(if that makes sense)
No it’s fine lmao. The longer decisions go, the more likely you’ll hear from them anyway since they can’t do this forever. Good luck! Channeling GV’s your way
yes LMAO it gets confusing but idk that’s what I’ve heard, and yes I heard back today
Nothing on my end. CALS Non-TO. Still picking my nose over here waiting for a decision
Congrats to everyone who’s gotten in so far tho!
Hey! Haven’t seen you for a while! How did your Stanford decision go?
lmaooo I’ve been working a lo and hanging out on the discord servers a bit.
Stanford said no sadly. So I’m just hoping for USC, UT Austin, and Cornell. Or else imma commit to A&M and try again next year!
Hope you’re doing well tho!
Ah… sorry to hear that man! I used to be in that discord too but it’s way too crowded for me haha.
I didn’t do great either. Since Stanford had waitlisted me, I haven’t heard anything so far. Looks like we are on the same boat for USC and Cornell! Hope you hear great news from all of them!
Maybe we’ll see each other at one of these schools lol
can we transfer twice?
CAS Non-TO rejected
I don’t see why not. It’s a separate cycle, and anything can happen in a year
Yo for sure! I appreciate that.
I hope you get into whatever school you feel most comfortable in. Stanford wait list is already an amazing achievement! I wish that was me lol I’d probably have that waitlist framed already.
Good luck dude! Wishing you the best
Not sure how good that would look hopping between three schools for undergrad
Ah I got rejected from Stanford too! Still waiting on USC as well. Good luck at A & M, still a great school.
Stanford rejection gang rise up
Well I’m transferring from a CC to a 4 year college. For me it’s about the affordability and the opportunities other schools offer (I’ve also always had a dream of attending college in my home state of California where I moved away due to hardships.)
I love A&M, but it’s also not an affordable option for me. I can most likely get by for a year but I don’t want to potentially stress my mom out with school fees, bills, and other expenses (obviously ill be working full time to try to support myself)
Im Gonna do everything I can at A&M to get a 4.0 for my year there, and see if I can transfer out to a college that’s a better fit for me and more affordable.
Thanks! I seriously appreciate it.
Im sorry Stanford didn’t work out for you, Im sure you’ll get into a great school
Are you going to be a junior next year? Most schools will not allow you to transfer unless you can complete 60 credit hours at their school
Im going in as a sophomore. So far I’m transferring over a total of 48 credits to A&M. 1 more year would put me over the 60 mark, which would make me a Junior transfer when the time comes.
Also, don’t get me wrong. I’m extremely grateful for the A&M admission. I love the school and the things they offer. I’m just weighing my options just in case.
Oh no, I’m not judging at all! Just curious Bc i didn’t want u to make the wrong plans
