I had a horrible high school GPA it was literately 2.7! But I think what offset that GPA was because I was heavily heavily heavily involved in extra curricular and leadership. I play 4 sports all at an international level out of which Iā€™m the captain of my countryā€™s team for 2 of those teams. Also, I had sent in additional information through my portal which explains why I wasnā€™t able to do well during those years ā€” like my guardian had passed away due to cancer, and my parents had left so I raised two of my younger siblings.

And obviously Iā€™m entering as a junior so I submitted 2 years of college and I had taken more than the credits I could, additionally I took winter classes and all and had a cumulative GPA of 3.87 in collegeā€”and all my classes were STEM classes so they were pretty challenging.

I apologize for the long post, but incase you had a bad GPA know that they still accept you if they see a fit for you in their campus. Goodluck!

Thanks for letting me know! I actually applied this year as a junior, but I guess I wasnā€™t competitive enough. Youā€™re ECā€™s are amazing and congratulations on Cornell.

I applied Dyson AEM. Iā€™m from a community college. Knew it was a longshot but it still hurts :sweat:

Still did not receive any CALS (TO) decision. Hope to hear soon. Very frustrating to wait almost a year now.
