is there any reason you chose not to go to Carolina?? In-state tuition is ■■■■■■ amazing. Thank you tho, but Cornell, Swarthmore, Haverford, & Hopkins r very very competitive so I do not expect anything. Also, lowkey shocked I got in Out of state, I heard it is competitive.

I would have loved to apply to Carolina but unfortunately they don’t have my major. I’m doing industrial engineering. and yes it’s pretty competitive you should be really proud of yourself (: also ik I live in NC but my parents don’t so I’m considered out of state there too lol

I just noticed a change on Cornell web regarding admission timelines:

“Reply to offer of admission: 30 days from the date of the admission offer or July 1, whichever is sooner”

Does this mean the latest date to release results is June 1 (not as June 15) as mentioned previously?

Wouldn’t that mean that they may offer admission after June 1st, which is why they said whichever comes sooner?

no not necessarily

CALS TO hope we have a big wave on 4th. Based on 2019/2020 discussions, May first week is usually the big wave day

My financial aid portal still shows “initiated” for “federal W2-parent”.
The portal says:
“We have received the required copy of your parents’ 2019 federal income tax return; however, their employer-issued W2 forms were either not included or are incomplete. The total of the W2s must match line 1 of tax form 1040.”
I emailed the financial aid office but did not get a response.
Is anyone having the same problem? Does anyone know what I should do?
Thanks in advance!

you can call the financial aid office they’re pretty helpful

We had the same language. After 6 business days from me emailing to inquire, they emailed back that they needed us to reload a W2 they could not read well enough and also a signature page on our 1040. Now we wait for the financial aid offering.

new week, new acceptances. good luck everyone!!!

Hey, it seems like TO decisions are being released before non-TOs. I just watched a YouTube vid when a TO girl got into Human Ecology on April 29.

I am a Non-TO to HumanEc, I saw some people who are Non-TO to HumanEc get some decisions. I think it is quite random at this point. I PRAY i get my decision tomorrow tho

They received a decision on Thursday instead of Tuesday?

what about non-to cals folk? didn’t they get released in June last year, or am I wrong? I am so terrified of waiting until June :0

I cannot wait until June luv’s, I have enrollment deadlines coming in 10 days. Idk what to do

how do people wait until june… that’s after like enrollment into classes, housing applications, etc. I am so worried about not enrolling in a school to wait for Cornell and then getting rejected/waitlisted.
