Are you a resident? Cornell really likes diversity in students so being from different country is a huge advance.
Thanks a lot! Hope things go well for you as well
Yes, I am a resident I was born and raised outside the us, but i had a great opportunity to move here after High School. I mentioned that in my educational path essay
Rejected CASā¦ Iām not too upset because I had good essays and ECs but my GPA was below average (3.7)
Accepted to SHA non-TO, 1420 SAT, 4.0 GPA. Super excited!
Still havenāt received my decision for CAS, anyone else in the same boat? Is that a bad sign?
I still havenāt heard yet either, canāt really tell if itās good or bad
Congratulation! When did you submit your application?
Has anyone who was accepted since April 20 heard anything from financial aid as to your package, assuming you applied for aid? I hear finaid for RD accepted students is super behind.
Thank you! I submitted on March 15th.
if I have to wait another week just to get a rejection Iām gonna be so mad lol
Me too Iām not sure if it is bad since rejections and acceptances continue till late so I think itās the same chances itās just the wait is just terrible
How many of us still waiting? Like this comment so we will see how many of us are still here
I applied to CAS
I got rejected by CAS.
Still not a single engineering?
Hi! I also havenāt heard back about financial aid, I called the office since all my documents were still showing as initiated even though I submitted in January and the office was super helpful in getting everything sorted out.
i applied to CAS (non-TO) on April 15th, so i was wondering, does Cornell notify people based on when they apply?
Rejected - Dyson non-TO applicant. Iām a freshman in uni in the US. High school gpa - 3.5, uni (top 20 US news for my major) gpa - 3.94. 1440 SAT, ā ā ā ā load of ECs in both high school and uni. Essays - 7/10. I kinda expected to not get in, but Iām still pretty sad about it. Anyway, good luck to the rest of you!
I donāt think so. Itās really who they wanna accept and who they can. So people who get in early might just fit the student profile that they are looking for that year.
