<p>Hello All!
Sorry I haven't exactly been an active participant in the Cornell Transfer Thread, but I have been paying attention to it. I think I made a few posts in the very beginning, but slacked off on the posting (I had a very busy semester...applied to six schools overall while doing National Student Exchange fourteen hours from my home campus).
Anywayyyyyyyysssssss I got into Cornell-- I can log into housing and I talked to an admissions lady who said I was accepted, even though I haven't gotten the letter yet. I guess they made a super late decision for me. And it was in my top three along with Columbia (which I was rejected from) and Brown, which I haven't heard back from yet.
Today I received an email from Financial Aid saying that I was missing three things from my financial aid application: 1) My CSS Profile, 2) My actual Cornell Transfer Financial Aid App, and 3) my parents' 2010 tax returns. So the only thing I actually got in was the FAFSA. Has anyone else received anything similar? Do you think it will affect how much I get? They didn't sound mad even though I was supposed to get it in by March 1 I guess.
I'm kind of kicking myself over this, and I hope it doesn't end up hurting me.
Anyway, thanks! Let me know if anyone else is in a similar boat.</p>
<p>^I was in a similar predicament with Vandy. I had no idea they required the CSS profile and tax returns. That said, I completed my CSS profile and mailed the tax returns within the next few days. My financial aid letter came in the letter roughly 2-3 days after I mailed my tax returns and practically got a full-ride (0 EFC). I do not think the delay hampered my financial aid package.</p>
<p>Wow thanks! That’s good to know, I hope I’m as lucky. Congrats on getting all that money from Vandy!</p>
