<p>Hello everybody,
So I intend going into the medical field because I care about people and want to help the elderly and people in poor communities. I have volunteered at a local hospital, couple of non-profits, and tutor kids in a run-down urban after-school program.After perusing the Cornell website,I have realized that my interests fall perfectly in line with Human Ecology and its Human Biology,Health and Society major.I really want to transfer to Humec but as a freshman with only a semester work under my belt, i took all the following courses last semester except the Biology with lab.I had a 4.0 GPA though.I'm worried whether this will affect me in the admissions process OR since they stressed that Chemistry lab must be taken in the first year,I'm good to go.I am from Ghana and took four years Advanced Level Biology in high school and had a cumulative B grade(if that helps)</p>
<p>General chemistry with lab (must be taken first year)
Introductory biology with lab
English composition
Calculus
Introductory Macro- or Microeconomics, psychology,anthropology or sociology</p>
<p>OR should I apply to CAS(who do not have any required coursework for sophomore transfers) for their major in Biological Science and their minor in Inequality-which is also a perfect combination for my interests.Anyway,I'm transferring from a tier 1 LAC here in the U.S.A and my high school stats are strong thats why I'm considering sophomore transfer(if that helps).Any advice pleaseeeeee????????</p>
