CORNELL TRANSFER

Hey guys,

So I am going to be a freshman in NYU this fall of 2014.
I am an international student (Korean) who has studied in U.S. for all four high school years.
I am really happy about going to NYU, but my dream school is Cornell.
So I want to transfer to Cornell's CALS badly.

The questions here are, I know that there are people who got the guaranteed transfer email. Sadly I have not.
Do you know what the REAL rates are for transfer students, excluding the guaranteed transfers?
Also, my SAT is 2110, which is not great for applying into Cornell, more so considering that I am an international. I do not know if I want to put this in my transfer resume.
Also, what should be my approximate GPA in NYU to get into Cornell? I know that the best would be to get all As, but if not possible, what should my limit be?
Last question, should I concentrate in getting a good GPA instead of concentrating in leadership roles? I know for guaranteed transfers, GPA is all that matters, but for regular transfers like me, I do not know what my area of concentration should be.

Thank you! :)

NYU may not be the ideal school if you want to transfer to Cornell’s CALS
