Cornell Transfer

I have been thinking about transferring from Purdue engineering to Cornell engineering. I was wondering if anyone has any information regarding my chances? Keep in mind that I already transferred from a community college in FL to Purdue, so this would be my second transfer. In CC, I earned a 4.0 in my last three semesters, however, since coming to Purdue my GPA has dropped to a 3.4 due to the fact that I transferred into the first year engineering program which has a very steep curve in most of the classes. I imagine that my GPA this term will be much higher now that I am in the non-weedout courses. In CC, I took between 15 and 21 credits while also working full time. I have been an officer in school clubs, and received some academic awards. I also have a strong essay due to life events in the past. Also, for anyone who doesn't know much about engineering, Purdue would be seen as a peer institution to Cornell engineering, perhaps even more respected in some cases. My reasons for transferring lie grounded in my career goals, which are in consulting initially. I think I would have a better shot at getting into consulting from Cornell, otherwise, if I was planning on being an engineer I would just stay at Purdue.

Do you think there is a chance that I could transfer to Cornell?

why do chance threads always end up with the individual trying to convince us that they are qualified to get in?

anyways

while the 4.0 from the cc is great, a 3.4 in your most recent semester is not going to cut it for cornell.

best of luck

Fair enough.

How about everyone just disregards what my previous post says. Instead, please just elaborate on any knowledge you have about transferring into Cornell engineering specifically. While I welcome any comments, I am particularly interested in stories about people transferring in from other reputable engineering programs, their GPA's, etc. I will gauge my own qualifications compared to that of others.
Thanks...
