Hi,
I was just wondering what the stats were to successful transfer students
not including GT's though... because that does not make much sense :)

non-GT CALS transfer...came in after freshman year at college

HS numbers:
3.9 UW GPA
1250/1600 SAT
26 ACT
650 Bio SAT II
700 Chem SAT II

College:
3.85 GPA, 3.7 at the time of application
was on the swim team and principal flute in the college orchestra

what was your course load^^

people tell me 18+ credits is a full load

any other stories from other transfers?

16 credits 1st semester....17 credits 2nd semester. 18 credits can be difficult...I guess it would depend on the rigor of the courses and any other time commitments you have.

alright cool...i've been thinking about 18-21 credits...leaning towards 18...i think 21 will just bring my gpa down

Yeah...21 would be overkill. Unless you can live without sleep :-P

hahah :) ^^

i was thinking that it would look like i was a hard worker...but maybe not? I think i need more EC's...maybe i'll focus more on that

what school did you transfer out of? What courses did you take there?

^^Well...that mindset can also work against you :-)

I transferred out of SUNY New Paltz...was a Bio major so I took Bio, Chem, Calc, Honors English and some Gen. Ed. requirements.

oh alright thank you...
