I was just waitlisted to Cornell CALS (Applied Econ Management)
Questions:
I was wondering if anyone had any statistic on the acceptance rate for waitlisted students?
Will waitlisted students be accepted into their major of choice?
When will they let us know if we have been accepted from the waitlist?

wow that’s pretty disappointing, only 96 people got in last year. I hope I have a better chance for the January Spring admit thing haha. Also, are you going to submit any additional documents to them (letter of recommendation, updated resume, etc…) for the waitlist?
4.7% acceptance rate off the waitlist. If you applied CALS and you get off the waiting list then you will be admitted into CALS.

@darktoform31 You will get into the major. Cornell admits applicants major by major. That means even within CALS admittance rate will differ. If more people apply to your major, you will have less chance to be accepted.
