I chance back

If you do get around a 2250, I would say high reach/ low match for Cornell. What are your subject test scores and AP scores? Perhaps I can get a better assessment.

Do same for me?

thx

@Dynasty21 ok thanks! I posted my subject test + AP test score for Chem but they weren’t very good (I didn’t prepare at all). But I’m taking 3 other APs and subject tests this year so I’m probably not going to send my chem one… And did you mean high match / low reach? Because low match means close to a safety hahaha

@MikeJuhuoski WOOPS HAHA. Yea, high match/lower reach

wow you’re really desperate huh. 2/3 of these comments are from you saying ‘bump’ or ‘please help me’

@emanneercs323 I know I know hahaha. I swear I’m not this annoying in person, but I’m just so apprehensive. I’m calm now ok? Hahaha

haha sorry. <3 good luck on everything

@emanneercs323 thanks so much! Good luck to you too if you’re still in the whole process! If not, then have a good day? Hahaha I’m so weird

I’m not an admissions expert, but I would need some SAT or ACT scores to even give a somewhat accurate estimate.

i like you!! c: you seem nice. and i am! fingers crossed we do well :D/

@yikesyikesyikes yeah I’ve realized that. I gave an estimate of what I would like to get, but unless I get that actually, it’s so pointless to assess a hypothetical situation. Thanks though for responding. I’ll probably edit this again when I find out my actual scores in the future.

Yeah, go for it. I’m a senior going through the rat race that is the college admissions process, so I sort of know how you feel and how you will feel. I wish you the best of luck, and hopefully you will hear good news next year. As of now, your stats look good.

Thanks! And same to you! I hope you get in to your top choices! @yikesyikesyikes

**into

I agree, we need your concrete test scores to properly gauge your chances. As well as more subject tests and AP exams. All EC’s should be listed (I assume they are all listed) and what about recommendations and essays? Are they solid/strong? Remember that your teachers’ credibility may be affected by writing skills (My concern is with what you mentioned about your math teachers). And for your essays, make sure they’re on topic, and work hard on them. Have a peer editor and go through it 4+ times. I suggest that your editor should have a tremendous understanding of the english language in order to catch any small errors (Ie: punctuation, spelling, etc.). From what I see I think you have a shot. You seem to have made some impressive accomplishments though, and regardless of where you end up, you’ll do great. You seem very nice too, and I do hope you get into these schools.

@MaddyDUMW Thanks!! I’ll definitely update this at the end of my junior year. By then I’ll have 3 new AP and subject test scores. I’m sure I’ll work hard on the essay no matter what the topic is!

Hey! So I know that this is pretty late, but don’t listen to those saying that if you get lower than a 2200 on the SAT you have a low chance of getting into Cornell. I got a 30 on the ACT which is probably the equivalent of a 1900-2000 on the SAT and I got in. Test scores, although important, really aren’t everything. Good luck.
