I can’t make it to the Cornell Engineering Diversity Day April 20-22. Does anyone know anything about Cornell Days or just any day in Diversity Hosting Month? Just wanted to know
I got a letter saying that I will be accepted when decisions come out! Hopefully they give me a lot of financial aid so it is not so expensive. :>

@acceptmike did you just get it? Are diversity/LL letters just coming out randomly? Did you receive an email before you got your letter?

Got an acceptance lettter in the mail 4 days after reading a likely letter email. I’m from out west and not URM. Didn’t make sense. Engineering, 34 ACT, low 500"s on Subject tests.

@Dubudubu I was accepted ED and already got my financial aid, and Cornell really came through! I think you’ll be fine 
Are there any current or recent Cornell students looking on, who can comment on whether the attitudes and overall vibe on this thread are similar to what one might experience on Cornell’s campus? The craven competitiveness, invasive cross-examinations, preoccupation with URM-advantage, and marked lack of sense of humor, especially as compared to other college’s threads, are giving me serious reservations about Cornell as an option for my D if she does get in. Not everybody, of course, but it’s certainly a noticeable trend.

@Dubudubu It was soooo weird to get a paper acceptance in the mail 4 days after an email Likely. They obviously were not connected. Here’s the kicker, Forgot to go to my scheduled interview! Rescheduled and was awkward.
Did anyone else get a likely letter via mail but not email? I find this a little concerning…

@ALLCAPS24 I have an error in my financial aid status too, but I didn’t receive an email either! it was on my financial aid to do list but i got no email about it ugh
