****Cornell University Class of 2021 Regular Decision Thread****

@Phantoful What was your GPA by curiosity? Also gender/race

Edit: Never mind, you use a different scale. I assume 104-105 is like a 4.1 or something?

Waitlisted College of Engineering :frowning:

@Phantoful how did you get in w/o any ECs and an SAT around the 25th percentile lol

Everyone post your stats…

Guys, I got the transfer option. What exactly does this mean?

Edited with my GPA, I’m a male Muslim (Asian/Arabic), American though.

Anyone figure out how to see the financial aid offer?

Yeah, never used converters, but that seems about right

rejected CHE HBHS with 1450 sat 4.03 GPA decent ecs… totally saw this coming thoo ahahah

I got the transfer option for ILR. I’ve read a lot about this and it’s a guaranteed acceptance after one year if you maintain a certain GPA your first year at another school.

@soulsurfer99 got the transfer option too. I think its a guaranteed transfer so we just have to maintain a certain gap at another school+maybe take some specific classes and then we are automatically in for soph year.
What school did u apply to? I applied to ILR

accepted to human ecology. where is financial aid package???

@Phantoful Congrats bro, that’s a huge accomplishment. I have no ECs either, aside from a few sports, and I’ve gotten into BU, Villanova with a full ride, and wait listed from UNC. I haven’t opened Cornell yet, but I will within the hour. My GPA is around a 99.5, with an SAT of 1950/1360, that gives me hope that I got in because I thought my essay was extremely unique. That GPA is remarkable though and far higher than mine.

@rusmonster A 104.5 is much closer to a 4.6-4.7, as far as I know a 95 is considered a 4.0. Anything higher than a 107 is virtually impossible, or in my school at least, based off the courses you’re required to take

Waitlisted for the College of Engineering! Congrats to everyone accepted!!!

Accepted to college of engineering!!

GPA: 93.82 (Unweighted)
Old SAT: 720 Reading, 800 Math, 650 Writing
A couple of ECs, but they’re not related to my major at all (chemical engineering)

Also, when will the financial aid packages come out? Or have they already come out along with the results?

My old SAT was taken in my Sophmore year, and my New SAT in my Junior. My ACT was in my senior year—showing improvement shows a lot more than just getting good grades!

@vlindo - Can you elaborate please. I got the same message as @sprinkle .
