Waitlisted at CALS (5th waitlist!) Does anyone know how many people they usually let in off the waitlist?
rejected 4.34 W/30 act lol but expected
Wait listed in Human Ecology… 34 ACT, 3.77/4.27 GPA, Top 5% rank, 13 AP’s. Does anybody know how much Human Ecology utilizes their wait list?
Waitlisted , Act 32… GPA 4.8… Tons of EC’s with a job and track… 400 volunteer hours…
Rejected. Kind of sad but I already have admission at a few other really good school but Cornell was really my top choice. Oh well
Congratulations to all those accepted though
Waitlisted Human Ecology 34 ACT 4.3 GPA. I heard the waitlist acceptance rate is the same (usually) as the regular acceptance rate - 14%. BUT in 2009 1400 people accepted a spot on the waitlist and 0 people were offered admission… I definitely won’t be getting my hopes up. I read that waitlisting is often a “nice” rejection to let you know that you were “close” to getting accepted. At least I know i was “close” to being an ivy league student. Now that I have been denied/waitlisted at 8/13 schools (only 3 were reaches), I’ve become incredibly disappointed with the college application process.
S rejected CALS.
Congratulations to all accepted.
@CactusUsername - not sure how to see financial aid. Went to portal and clicked on aid and was directed to Oracle login. Could not login. Hey, what link did you use to check status as the portal link did not provide info.

@HopefulSwattie same question from me
Literally, where do I view my financial aid award?!
Yeah how do I see how much FA I got?
Also, does anyone know how to view financial aid awards?
does transfer mean I am a jan 2018 admit?
because the common app says this:
Applicants to the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, College of Arts and Sciences, College of Business, and College of Human Ecology may be considered for January 2018 admission. Learn more about the First-Year Spring Admission program online at: admissions.cornell.edu/fysa. In addition to being considered for Fall 2017, I am interested in First Year Spring Admission in January 2018.
and i am in agriculture + life sci
The Transfer option means that if you go to another college within the US for your first year, meet certain academic requirments (3.3 GPA, take certain classes), and fill out a shortened transfer application, then you will be admitted to Cornell your sophmore year for Fall 2018.
got the transfer option with a 30 ACT
