@Cornellian2025 Im not 100% sure myself, but my advisor sent me a email to inform me about I think. I have a really good relationship with my officer in Dyson so he may be telling me something thats good or that doesn’t matter. Hoping for the best tho. Good Luck
@kavan716 Good Luck !!!
After submitting the application how long does it takes to receive the portal link?
normally, within 3 days
@Newyorkkidd I thought you applied a while back?
@aspiringgirl I was but then I wasn’t but I finally did lol.
who else is applying to CAS and for what major
Anyone else having the issue where you try the pin trick and after you enter your email, the website says:
“We were unable to locate your PIN. Please try again, or contact Technical Support for further assistance. To request your PIN via email, you must provide the name of the School to which you are applying, the email address under which you registered your account, date of birth, and full name.”
Does that just mean your decision hasn’t been made or is it something of underlying concern?
@nr2001 that shouldn’t mean anything. it is to early and decisions don’t begin until the last week of April I believe. I think people have till April 15th to submit documents and they begin to review applications after.
@Newyorkkidd OHHH so you originally applied for Dyson, but once the admissions officer told you about the 60 credit thing, you switched to CAS?
@aspiringgirl you’re confusing me with the other newyork (forgot their username) lol
@kavan716 I think they start to review applications once all your documents are in
@Newyorkkidd I applying to CAS as a stem major.
Any CAS applicants with over 60 credits, don’t stress! I remember someone who was applying to Dyson saying they didn’t consider applicants with over 60 credits, so I emailed CAS
@aspiringgirl to add to what she said, they don’t care if you have 90 credits they just care about how many of those credits are transferring to Cornell
Hi guys - I have been very frustrated with my mid-term report. Professors aren’t getting back to me and there are so many complications with the college report. Do you guys have any advice for what you did to submit them on time? Thanks!
@keepthatsmile I actually did mine on 4/3-4 so I uploaded the pdf to Lumin and sent a link out to my professors explaining that I was applying to transfer and that I needed the doc completed by 4/10 even though sooner would be more ideal
