Cornell University Fall 2020 Transfer

I think its better to send ur mid-term report as referecne for ur application.

@aspiringgirl I was talking about the registrar report. My advisor said "If you could attempt to get it, I would still try to attempt to receive every portion of the app. I assume with the circumstances, some schools aren’t Able to send it to Cornell.

Advisor at your current institution??

Finally see stuff on my financial aid portal. What does “initiated” mean?

Hey guys, is everyone’s portal saying " You will hear from our office in mid-April on a rolling basis about your admission decision. "?

I see that in mine

Mine says that too. Maybe they’ll send decisions to people who submitted by the “official”/earlier deadline in April and to later applicants in May? Who knows

@CHVRCHES hiii, are u saying some people receive the message that their decision come in may?

@Cornellian2025 Well, I meant that MAYBE they mean they’ll release decisions mainly depending on when people submitted apps since they extended the deadline. I’m totally not sure though, maybe the portal says the same for literally everyone

It says that for everyone. I think it’s the default text because I applied on 4/4

@aspiringgirl I don’t see that and I applied in March. You guys are looking at the Application Status Portal with the checklist right?

lol, gotchu. But does that mean the earliest decision would come out on mid-April?

I’m looking at past threads and as a non-TO student, it’s best for me to not get my decision during the first two weeks because it would most likely be a rejection. But that’s reversed for TO applicants

@aspiringgirl but i emailed cornell which says since its rolling basis, the earlier apply, the earlier decision come out

once ur material completed, they will start looking at ur profile.

I’m just looking at trends from the past year’s threads

Good Luck! Cornell is the only school that i applied

So should I want my decision to be delayed further until May rather than it coming out in April?

@aspiringgirl no. I have been speaking to the same advisor since January when I applied. He has the been the person that I have been updating for everything regarding my app so thats what he said.

@DrewGonz19 I think it comes out when it comes out. Is there a way where you can have the decision be further delayed?
