Why on my financial aid portal it says initiated but when you click on each it says it’s missing and that I have to submit the documents when I am sure I did through CSS profile
i heard that if u applied to Cornell previously, they will also look up your previous application. Do u guys think it’s better for them to look up ur previous application?
It wouldn’t make sense tbh because I applied for a different school before and now I am applying to CAS
@Newyorkkidd what is op? I have never heard of it and I am a NYS student. Also, the may have received it but have not updated that they have received it yet, when did you submit your finical aid?
Some students’ fin aid stuff still said initiated when they were accepted so don’t stress
@aspiringgirl which major and school did you apply to @ Cornell?
Has anyone filled out the IDOC? I went on the financial aid page and it said that we could file through IDOC but not sure what that is
@DrewGonz19 you have to upload all your documents through IDOC is on the CSS profile, if you don’t see it hmu and I will show you
@DrewGonz19 my finical aid has been received already. just have to submit my Tax schedule 3 that was uploaded today. I am not sure what IDOC is but I know that is the last thing I need to submit.
@kavan716 just told you I applied to Africana Studies in CAS
@aspiringgirl oh my bad. I thought that was your major at your old school and you were applying to something else. Sorry
so colleges accept by major?
if anybody wants somebody to talk to privately about the admissions process and just waiting for decisions, PM me !
Is anyone else in the position of needing to put a deposit down for another school if they do not hear back from Cornell before May 1st? Three of the schools I was accepted to have a May 1st decision day and I do not have high hopes of being accepted to Cornell at all…let alone within the first two weeks
@CALSgirl2020 I think you should call or email admissions and tell them about your other schools needing a decision on their admission notice on May 1st and see if they’ll give you your admission over the phone. Or you can pick one of the schools you got admitted to, pay the deposit to be safe in case you don’t receive admission to Cornell. Best of luck!
@Cornellian2025
I think they look at your previous transcript. My TOEFL score got expired so the official transcript was gone, so they said they’ll check the unofficial one from the previous year- knowing that I’ve submitted a TOEFL score in previous years.
I thought most colleges give you until june 1st to make deposits
@kavan716 wait so we have to submit the federal tax 3 schedule? it says its due 10/15/2021
I see mostly the same people in this thread since the beginning, do u guys think not a lot of people applied?
I don’t think so
