Cornell University Fall 2020 Transfer

Yes. Last Tuesday was the first round of decisions.

My financial aid portal recently changed from saying “initiated” to “inquiry access denied.” Does this mean anything?

@Safaky111 - mine did that 2 weeks ago lol

My pin trick just worked and I’m non TO

My pin trick still does not work. When did you submit your application? @moneymoneybagg

The pin trick didn’t work for me at all as I am a previous applicant

Is anyone else’s financial aid portal showing the same documents multiple times? All my things still say initiated but I noticed the transfer transcript is listed twice and I have new requirements like verification worksheet.

I submitted mine 3/15 @keeepthatsmile

wE WEre UNAblE tO LOcAte YOur PiN

Which school are you applying to? Have you applied to Cornell before?

Wait I’m dumb I’m a previous applicant. I just used the pin emailed to log in and I saw my decision from last year.

i think tomorrow is going to be like last week.

checklists will disappear and people will get decisions at random times

good luck everybody were in this together!

are y’all checking financial aid through idoc?

they will review applications until june

Will we receive an email if Cornell accepts us?

@angeldiaz you can check it through finaid.cornell.edu/check-application-status
@ndrsn0208 people have said they get an email once the decision is available on the portal.

@kocacola thank you, just checked mine for the first time. All my docs are under “initiated”

When did you submit your application? Is this the first time you’re seeing the verification worksheet? I saw it listed in my financial aid portal as soon as they sent me the link to my financial aid sign in, so it’s a bit strange you’re only seeing it now (and that you’re seeing the same multiple documents twice)! You should contact the financial aid office about that.

UPDATE GUYS!!! my 2019, 2020, 2021 “inquiry access denied” changed back to TRANSFER TRANSCRIPT - initiated for 2021…

so IMMA JUST SAY IT. I do NOT THINK that there is ANY correlation right now between financial aid and admissions. If it keeps bouncing back and forth, and we keep looking at ANY small change, I doubt it will give us a decision.

Just throwing my few cents in here.

I think that this year has no way to find out if you have a decision coming maybe due to the fact that deadlines were extended for transfer admission.

I think this year people have a equal chance of getting in, wether their FA changes from initiated to ordered, or nothing disappears from their FA.

this year is definitely unique from other years, but I think we just have to take it by every Tuesday and see what happens then.

Ps (I only have transfer transcript on my FA portal.)
