what does’Cornell University requires official documentation as part of the application process. For students who are admitted and enroll, the Undergraduate Admissions Office verifies the authenticity of information submitted as part of the application process for a random sampling of entering students.’ mean?

If our checklist disappeared but our financial aid still says “Initiated” does that mean rejection?
The only thing that means rejection is if your decision letter doesn’t say congratulations
