Can’t believe this has turned into some kind of controversy. I already explained the confusion, and it’s based on ignorance. Brown has something called the Return Undergraduate Education program, an application track for transfer for older students. The RUE decisions have been released, so yeah, I received a rejection from Brown. Why would I even lie about being rejected? Bizarre… call Brown again if you want and ask them about RUE.

Accepted into Dyson. Congrats to everyone on their well-deserved acceptances. For those who were denied, there is always a chance next year, as well as other universities that would be ready to accept you with open arms!

@heyigotnoclue Hi, I actually received my application status update on Apr 21, a Tuesday. Active duty military and did some classes accumulating about 30 credits. 3.9 GPA. Lots of leadership positions and promoted ahead of peers.
What do you mean by TO and NO TO?
I was just rejected by UChicago : ( do you think I still have a chance at Cornell? I’m trying to be positive but it’s getting really difficult

Hey, I understand your frustration (I think everyone here does), I got bummed too by UChicago, and I know Cornell isn’t helping matters either. The truth is you really tried your best and you gave it your best shot, so try not to think too hard about the whole situation. So what if we get bummed by Cornell too? We have better days ahead and that’s what matters. So cheer up!
@Linna513321 I saw one person in this thread get accepted into SHA yesterday but I haven’t heard back as well
@meninaeidethea I think you have a shot at Cornell. These schools are competitive and it hurts to get rejected but that doesn’t mean you can’t get into Cornell. I believe in you! I hope you get good news from Cornell!!
