So let me get this straight—if i applied to CoE and I didn’t receive an email from the engineering department official days before the Tuesday of next week, I am basically screwed right?

@transfer945 I got my decision last Tuesday and I called fin aid yesterday and they said I will get my aid this coming Wednesday. I think it depends on when you complete your aid application and if there are missing materials. I hope this helps!

lol, my bad! I thought a lot of OOS people might be hearing later. Congrats on the acceptances! Everyone else who is still waiting right now, no news is better than bad news, at least that’s how I’m trying to look at it right now :slight_smile:

@transfer0000 im in the same boat. I think theres 2 possibilities.

  1. they made your decision (rejection) and itll come eventually
  2. they havent made a decision, so you can still get in
    I wouldnt give up quite yet. Id wait until you get a final decision.

@719mango Im in the same boat as rest of you… But I am just wondering if they made a decision of rejecting, why would they make us wait till very end?

I still want to have a hopes up but I don’t even know where to update them with my current situation or anything to increase the chance. I feel so defeated. ?

@anxierin I’d say email transfer admissions to ask where/how to update them on your situation. Any time I’ve had to email them they’ve always been super nice and helpful

I know a guy who got accepted to cals in early june last year!!! real stories. (International student). Also, all of my international friends dont get results from cals yet.

I got off waitlist for College of Engineering. They said I would get the official notification on Tuesday.

Apparently there is a waitlist for College of Engineering that they made this year. Also I applied to ECE.

I’m an international applicant and I haven’t received any decision yet. I applied for Computer Science.

COE has a waitlist that’s wack. I applied to the COE and have not heard anything.

Has anyone gotten a rejection that applied to the COE?

I think they tell you when they waitlist you and then let you know when you get off the waitlist.

I’ve already had 4 rejections and think that my chances here are slim because I’m an international applicant to COE CS and applied for FA.

I had a dream that I got rejected from COE and they offered me a waitlist. However, I applied to CAS… my mind is playing games with me

Where do you read that it’s 30 days from acceptance day to tell Cornell if you going? On it’s website, it says “Reply to offer of admission” is July1?

Also, have you receive anything in the mail yet?
