Cornell vs Berkeley (BUT THIS TIME IT'S ACTUALLY IMPORTANT)

It's important because it's about ME.

I've been accepted to both as a transfer. I live in southern california. The cost is roughly the same for both.

Points:

I want a college town feel.

I want a solid college community and school pride.

I have delusional mental images of spending nights in a huge, amazing library surrounded by other equally as industrious students.

I want to experience dorm life.

Food is important.

I HATE the cold.

I'm 6'10. (You never know if this could be relevant.)

I have pretty bad anxiety issues and wonder if I could handle being that far from home.

I get sick a lot.

I plan on going to law school.

My family is pretty poor.

I suppose that's it. Also, I got except to CHE, not CAS, if that makes any difference. I do like prestige, I see no point in lying to you mystery people.

Thank you!

id take cornell. and give me a few inches-im 5’8

go to berkeley.
i just came back from berkeley and it was an amazing experience.
if you havent visted, go and visit.
i am from l.a. and it has a new york feel but its still cali, you would get the best of both worlds.

seriously berkeley has an amazing library…several amazing libraries. and one cool underground one!

JANE WhAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING OVER HERE?

i miss you :frowning:
you have forgotten about me.
:(

only slightly, only slightly.

:( well i miss you more than slightly.

go visit berkeley.
berkeley has the college town feel, prestige solid school pride…again the library is amazing…the doe memorial library is just so awesome.

its open 24 hours

lets see…food there is a bunch of food around berkeley and on campus too. nearly everywhere i went catered to vegetarians/vegans (dunno if you are one)
and about the coldness…yeah both cornell and berkeley arent southern california…but at least berkeley is california…no snow.

you should sooooooo visit.

am i the only one aaaaa

I actually have visited. I was originally anti-Berkeley, but the visit changed my mind. It is, indeed, quite a place.

More important, MAYBE I WOULDN’T MISS YOU IF YOU WOULD JUST ADD ME ON FACEBOOK.

and ansrox, what the heck are you trying to say?

I used to like it, until it raped my mother and killed my best friend.

whoa-raped ur momma -killed ur best friend-!!

jane, I have begun to lose hope in you.

why :frowning: ?

because you clearly just do not exist.

ansrox, do you go to Cornell right now?

as a matter of fact, i am an incoming freshman at the univ of minnesota for the fall 2010 semester; but i love cornell-soo sad i got rejected
