Cornell vs Brown

I am deciding between Brown and Cornell. Could you give me some unbiased advantages and disadvantages of the two schools so that I can make up my mind?
BTW, I am international student and I am planning to major in Biology. Which school has a better department of Biology or Biology engineering? Which school has a strong international students body
Thanks

if you are an international student, undoubtedly cornell has the international prestige. if you look at international rankings, brown (and dartmouth for that matter) is usually around 20 spots behind cornell. from what i've been reading on these boards, biology at cornell seems to top any ivy. obviously, cornell has a stronger alumni connection because its a bigger school and that implies alumni in other parts of the world. but don't get me wrong, brown is a nifty place too.

You won't get an unbiased answer here. Cornell has a much better biological engineering than Brown, but I'm not sure about biology departments at both schools.

Cornell is ranked higher than Brown overall

And the above statement matters because?

because thats one of the advantages of going to cornell...

If u work internationally Cornell is definitely far better than Brown in name recognition. I hear lots of international people saying that people in their country don't even know Brown, while they DEFINITELY know Cornell. Brown is a Great school, but Cornell is as well. For science/engineering i'd feel safe saying Cornell is better. Research opportunities are better at Cornell as well I'd assume.

Cornell's bio major has a ton of specializations or programs of study (13) - if you see any that interest you, then Cornell would probably be a better fit. I don't know what Brown's bio major is like though.
