Cornell vs Columbia ED

I’m stuck between Columbia and Cornell for early decision… these are my top two schools and I like Columbia only a tad bit more but my stats aren’t enough to get it – only a few from my school with similar stats got in, whereas a lot more people with similar stats as me got into Cornell.

I have a 1510 superscored SAT, 96 GPA at Brooklyn Tech H.S., with decent extracurriculars (I don’t have many, but the ones that I have, I dedicated my all four years to).

I don’t want to waste my ED, so do you think Cornell is a better choice since I have a better chance?

I’m going in for computer/electrical engineering btw.

Thanks!
