So, I'm have trouble deciding which I should have as my #1, both have great things about them that I wish were true for the other one, I just want a little input. Also, I'm only posting this in the Cornell section as the Emory section is a lot less active.

Cornell Major Pros:
-Biometry major (really like this major)
-The fact that the major I would go into it one of the best schools in the country for that

Cornell Minor Pros:
-Better food, possible to drive there from my house, although it would be about 5 hours

Emory Major Pros:
-Small Class sizes
-Location (warm, and near a big city)
-Seems like volunteering at a hospital, shadowing doctors, and doing research would be easier

Also, about me. I think med school is a possibility for me right now, but I'm not sure, so Biometry at Cornell would provide me with a great back up plan, where as at emory I would be majoring in either Biology, or Math/CS, neither of which would be great if I didn't go to med school.

BUMP, important things also are social scene (I think Cornell used to be better, but with the new rule a here that might not be true) and how good the program I want to go into it.

I’d definitely go for Cornell based on what you’ve said. Also, I can assure you that the new restrictions will not get in the way of partying if that’s what you want to do.

compare the two schools’ financial aid package and think about going with the one that is cheaper to attend.

that said, Cornell is significantly more prestigious than Emory. And, if you happen to be interested in getting a job in business/ finance, Cornell is much better than Emory for that.

For pre-med? where you go to school matters very little. Go where you will get a high GPA and where you will enjoy.

Cornell has small classes too… besides many of the intro classes, the class sizes are not more than 20. At any college popular intro classes will always have a lot of students.

And the social scene at Cornell is just fine. There are so many students here, you will never get bored. There is also a Collegetown culture.

Sorry, I forgot to mention I like Rice too. And also, everyone is saying reasons why Cornell is equal to Emory, if it is just as good for pre med, but Emory is warmer, and by Atlanta it seems like that would be better. Why is Cornell better?

Dude, you didn’t apply ED to either school, right?

In that case, you have a ton of time before deciding where to go. First, get into both schools and visit both, then decide where you want to go more.

Cornell is more prestigious, but that doesn’t mean that it is a better choice than Emory on individual basis. Go where you feel comfortable. If you’re premed, consider attending your state flagship, save money, and get top grades easier.
