cornell vs tufts vs CMU vs hopkins vs brandeis vs wellesley vs BU

Okay, wow, I hate making decisions... and if I somehow happen to get into all or most of those schools (haha... well, at least I'm in at brandeis & wellesley right now), HOW am I going to decide????

I've tried making a list, but it's IMPOSSIBLE. I love them ALL! Why can't I go to them all? Which one am I ever going to pick???? sigh. HELP!

PS: I think I'm going to be a psych major (human development @ cornell, if I get in)... but I'm undecided right now. I'm always undecided. How do we undecided folks make a decision?

Get in first, then make a decision. :)

blahh i'm having the same problem.. but with different schools

acceptedalready, way to make me more nervous. JERK. ;-)

and like I said, I got into b-deis and wellesely and I can't even decide between THOSE two... if i get into more schools I'm just going to die of indecision.

Visit the schools and see which is the best match for you. Out of that list, I would go with either Cornell or JHU, but that's just me :).

Haha mehhh. I'm sure you're fine. But seriously it is waay too early to worry about picking schools now. Wait till you have all the acceptance letters in your hands and then you can visit each school and make the right decision.

cornell vs tufts vs CMU vs hopkins vs brandeis vs wellesley vs BU

with the exception of cornell (out of my reach) i would pick jhu over all those others any day...

after that probably brandeis...then tufts and cmu are tied...dont know anything about wellesley and bu probably last

look at the aid packages....

if were you (lets say you get into all of them),i would go one of cmu, jhu, cornell

JHU is a bit pre-meddy and cutthroat; I'd go for CMU/Cornell.

why do tufts and wellesley get no luvin' from you guys? LAC-y schools rule and are probably better for psychology, in some ways, right? I mean, I love JHU and cornell too and CMU too, duhhh... but I'm just sayin'

Tufts is not a LAC. Wellesley is... eh...........

I mean it is ALL up to you and you wanted our opinions :)

this post is ridiculous, now that I think about it.

I shouldn't count my colleges before they hatch!
I mean, I shouldn't count my chickens before they accept me!

um, you know what I mean :)

Yea that's what I said.

I wish the chickens had accepted me :( They didn't.. so now I'm back in the human world instead of the perfect farm world.

yes, but on the bright side, someone actually dedicated a thread to your username. I think that is something to be proud of!

If I had this dilemma, I would eliminate it down to Cornell, Hopkins, and CMU.

I have a cousin at Wellesley and let's just say that she hasn't seen a guy in three months.

IMHO....

I'd go to Wellesley or Tufts. More intimate, more interaction, less competition from grad students for research opportunities, better holistic college experience with less cut-throat enviornment. Definately way more cooperative. Plus, Boston is just a train ride away.

BTW, Wellesley has an amazing reputation...better than some of the others. Just ask the grad schools you might be applying to. Again, just an opinion.

IB

cornell vs tufts vs CMU vs hopkins

that wil be my pick.

For psych, I'd go with Cornell. Not sure if JHU is as strong in psych, and I don't know much about CMU.

But I agree, you shouldn't rule out the LACs.
