Cornell Vs U of CHicago vs Rice Premed

Sorry for multiple posts on the forums but this is the dilemma I have..
Cornell (17k) U of Chicago (29k) Rice (16k).

I'm personally thinking about Rice and Cornell. I'm going into premed/chemistry. Which school would help me get into med school better? I know theres the acceptance rate but thats not a good factor. Any input would be nice. I personally don't mind the weather/location/size. I'm just worried about internships/medical ec's/prestige (even though it probably doesn't matter a lot)/ gpa. Which school would be the best for me?

Thanks

Where you from? the North or South?

If you from the North, go to Rice

If you from the south, go to Cornell.

I would have gone to Cornell hands down, because I lived 45 mins. away from Rice for 6 years.

Forget about location (unless you are very concerned with where you are) most premeds I know don’t really care where the location is. They care about if they can get into medical school (#1) then they care if they can get into a good one. Supposedly cornell is tough and that doesnt help with GPA. Its average is 3.4, which is similar to a lot of places but ppl at cornell work very hard apparently.

TBH I myself am not sure about Cornell, but I’d choose it over rice.

If you don’t like cold weather, go to Rice.

If you like cold weather, go to Cornell.

As a UChicago student, I’d advise against going there as a pre-med. While I know people who have done obscenely well, it’s extremely tough.

The opportunities for medically-related EC’s, undergrad research, etc. are the greatest at Rice. Rice is a small school that is across the street from the Texas Medical Center, the largest medical complex in the world.
