Hello all,

I'm currently deciding between the Chemical Engineering programs at the University of Virginia (with Rodman Scholar status) and Cornell University.

Cost is not an issue.

The primary factors that I'm considering are:

1) quality of education
2) career potential
3) quality of life (rigor of courses, social scene, etc.)

One additional point: I've been selected as a Meinig Scholar at Cornell, which includes only the top 2% of admits and grants a host of benefits (detailed at Meinig Family Cornell National Scholars).

I appreciate any and all constructive advice U.Va./Cornell alumni, current students, or knowledgeable people may offer. I have to make my decision by Sunday (May 1st).
