Cornell vs UPenn in all ways. I would want to do business. Thanks

I would rank Penn ahead of Cornell, particularly for business (Wharton > Dyson) as well as for social life/location (Philadelphia > Ithaca). For full disclosure I’m a Wharton alum. That being said, they are both fantastic schools and if you can get into either one and do well you will be in great shape.

OP what is your goal in studying business? Also have you visited both schools (they are very different in location and feel)?

My son had the same question last year. Ultinmately he chose Penn because he liked the facilities and programs as well as the urban location of Penn. He did not like the remoteness of Ithaca.

In general, I would agree with happy1. But if you prefer one to the other in terms of programs, environment etc. then go with that. Your gut feeling and comfort level at each school should be part of the decision. They are both great.

Penn, easily. Especially if Wharton is in play. Also, going to a school in an urban area was one of the best decisions I made, both for personal and professional development.

whichever one lets you in.

Depends on your stats

Definitely Penn, given the Wharton placements
