***Cornell vs. UVA vs. Wake Forest vs. others for Pre-Med***

I've been accepted to these schools: Case Western, Indiana, Univ of Rochester, Univ of Virginia, Wake Forest, and Cornell.

I want to know which school will provide the best pre-med education, research opportunities, related extracurriculars, etc.

Thank you.

You have quite a list of excellent schools there. I’m sure all will afford you a great education, plenty of ECs, and opportunities for research.

The question is what are your non-negotiables? What do you need to be happy and engaged? Medical school admission is competitive. You want to have a very strong academic record to be admitted to a top school. You’ll excel where you feel comfortable, happy, and motivated.

okay hypothetically. what if im comfortable happy and motivated at all of those schools. how would you rank them because obviously they are not all equal in stature

That’s not really up to us to decide jhu. The best thing is to go on a tour there and get a feel for what each college is like. Pro/con lists for each college also help a lot. Make sure you narrow it down to like 2-3 before you tour.
