Cornell vs. Wesleyan

I just got admitted to both of these great schools. I know they are fundamentally very different -- one's a pretty large research school while the other is a much smaller LAC. Can some people enlighten me on what they would do in my shoes and why? What factors would push you towards one or the other?

I intend to major in chemistry and maybe attend med school. But my options are open and I might even double major in anthropology.

Thanks!

Did you get admitted into Cornell’s College of Arts and Sciences? If so, the choice will be tougher. CAS is much like a premier LAC (i.e. Wesleyan). It’s up to you, however, if you’re interested in humanities, you might want to consider Wesleyan over Cornell. I personally think Cornell offers more opportunities and flexibility should you decide or discover you want to study a different field, considering you seem to be interested in both anthropology and medicine.

Have you compared the financials (net cost) to see if one is considerably less than the other?
