Hi everyone,
Recently waitlisted for ILR and was wondering if anyone had any info to share
I was also waitlisted at CAS. Does anyone know what the waitlist admit rate is?
Last year the waitlist admit rate is about 2%
Around 4546 applicants opt-in and 164 got accepted.
Actually I think the rate depends on the college you applied to.
Can waitlisted students be provided a transfer option?
I think I read somewhere that some programs offer it but not all. Don’t take my word for it though
Waitlisted for HumEc ?
Waitlisted CALS… don’t think there’s much of a high chance at all unfortunately.
Waitlisted CE
Hi all: My S was waitlisted for CAS and has a button for FYSA. Is this mean he is guaranteed a spot in FYSA once he says yes to both?
@dspak77 I was waitlisted for CAS too. FYSA isn’t guaranteed, but if he chooses the option, he will be considered for spring admission if all of the fall 2020 spots are taken.
@blossom1239 Thanks for your reply. So digging further into FYSA, is everyone offered the FYSA or only to some? The fact that you are offered the FYSA mean you are high priority on their waitlist as well?
@dspak77 Everyone has the option of selecting FYSA on the waitlist form, and the only 2 schools in Cornell that offer FYSA are the SHA school and CAS. They offer the FYSA to only a select few on the waitlist, since there are only around 60 total from both schools. It is hard to get off the waitlist either way. If you’re offered the FYSA, it means they don’t have enough room for you in the fall, so you’ll start in the spring.
Got it. Good to know. Thanks
Hi, any new info on ILR waitlist? My daughter has also been waitlisted
