my child is Applied Physics and was offered admission yesterday from waitlist.

Remember that this page is only a snippet of the waitlist offers. Not everyone knows of this site. I know that if I weren’t on it, my son would not have posted that he got an offer. He wouldn’t have even thought of it.

Nope, didn’t see COE CS acceptances anywhere. Given it’s the most popular major in the whole university and probably has a really high yield rate, I wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t take anyone off the waitlist.

I called, they said they accepted “some people” off the waitlist but would continue to accept more. Just gotta hang in there :sob:

This is all a very subtle dance. You have to also consider that there are RD accepted students that are getting off waitlists at other schools and will jump from Cornell (gasp!)

Many people do not post here (or reddit). using CDS data it seems the spots offered are 5-10x what you see posted here. And ofcourse it varies by year.
