Cornell Waitlist Class of 2024

I also just received an email saying the waitlist is closed

I will be curious if anyone will receive a TO offer.

Got the email too. Let’s see if they still send out TO offers.

hi all! so this might be a stupid question, but how do you know if you actually got a TO? on mine, it just says they “hope i will consider applying here after 1-2 years at another institution.” they also included a link about transfer admissions. is this just the general email, or is this similar to a TO offer?

@user_776078 There is a seperate email for TO apart from the waitlist is closed email.
As for TO, i highly doubt it will happen since i think everyone has gotten the waitlist is closed email. People who got TO before were notified ealier. This is the end of the road for us folks.

Was this for CAS or another school? I haven’t received anything yet.

I just got a TO around noon (EST) from CAS, so I guess some colleges are still emailing people about it

Yup. Son got a TO around then.

I received a TO for CAS at noon today. I’m still kind of in shock because I had abandoned all hope of getting in. Does a TO mean guaranteed admission if I meet the requirements they outlined?

I just got a transfer offer from CALS for the food science major around an hour ago via email. It says “This is not a guarantee of admission we look forward to working with you on this path to transfer” so if I meet the requirements it is a guaranteed admission?

I just got the TO as well! So glad this wait is over.

Are these all CAS TO or other schools? I was in Humec and I am assuming humec has finished sending out everything.

Also I still would like to transfer to Cornell. I am currently going to UC Berkeley right now. Do people think the school you transferring from helps with you transfer, since i think Cornell and Berkeley are on the same level when it comes to rigor and prestige and selectivebility?

Has anyone else still not received an email? I haven’t gotten anything since the email in June.

@averageabby whatcollege are you in? I think people who have gotten are CAS, Humec, SHA, and CALs. Cas got theirs yesterday

I applied to CALS.

Yesterday at 9:07 CT I got the transfer option extended to me for ILR. I had lost hope and was ok with it after I got the waitlist rejection letter the day before. Just wanted to represent ILR a bit because we’ve barely heard anything from Cornell since the waitlist.

I got the TO as well but I feel like that doesn’t mean guaranteed admission? And I also have never been into the idea of being a transfer student

^ for CAS, a day after I got the “waitlist is closed” email

Is it still possible to get a TO if i didnt get it a day after i got the waitlist is close email.
