here’s hoping!!!
Awkward, I’m so sorry guys.
All good!
Just curious, if you guys were offered the transfer option, would you consider transferring for fall 2022?
I would
Good question, now I would say yes, but I’ve seen that a lot of the time people grow into the colleges they’re at and aren’t interested anymore, so who knows
edit: whoops accidentally posted twice
yeah I feel like that’s the same for me too. I ended up committing to my last choice because I can’t afford my top schools. Not really expecting much from Cornell but if I got a TO I’d be pretty happy, right now I’m like “duh of course I’d transfer to my dream school” but I’m wondering if I’ll change my mind in the future
Is transferring harder than getting in like regularly (not for just Cornell for top schools in general)?. I’ve heard that it’s not as hard, but I’ve also seen that the percentage of students that get in are a lot lower as well. Just curious.
when i asked an unrelated question to the cornell engineering department, they responded saying “At this time, we do not know if we will be able to make offers of admission to our waitlisted applicants. We are still in a holding pattern for the moment. I’m hopeful that we’ll have a better sense of where things stand as we move into the early part of next week. I appreciate your patience as this process unfolds.” it doesn’t sounds like good news but who knows.
When was this?
Yeah I don’t think we’ll be hearing anything at least until late may
I heard today from ilr… I GOT IN!!! The waitlist is active for that school at least
Congratulations!!! Did you get a call or email? Was it in the morning?
CONGRATULATIONS !!! finally some hope
CONGRATS! did you get a TO offered to you at the beginning too?
Thank you!!! The director of admissions emailed me that she’d like to speak with me on the phone earlier today. She then called around 3pm to congratulate me and advise me on my next steps. Don’t lose hope fellas I wasn’t expecting this either.
Also I was not initially offered a TO…
Holy moly you shut me up
Great! That must feel good, an email surprise and then a personal call. Thanks
