Dear (me),
Earlier this spring, you asked us to keep your name on our wait list in case we were able to make any more offers of admission for the 2021 fall semester. We now have a clear picture of the number of students who will be enrolling in the fall and, unfortunately, we will not have a place in the class to offer you.
We appreciate your interest in Cornell and your patience while you were on the wait list. You are a student who has much to contribute to a college community. We are confident that you have other fine opportunities for undergraduate education and know you will thrive wherever you enroll.
If, after a successful year or two elsewhere, you continue to believe that Cornell may be the right school for you, we hope you will consider applying to transfer here. Cornell enrolls between 600-700 transfer students each year, and you will find information for transfer applicants on our website: admissions.cornell.edu.
In the meantime, my very best wishes for every success as you continue your education.

Really hope COE starts to send updates soon… should I send an email to them relaying my continued interest? The last email I sent was 2 weeks ago so I am not sure if they will think I lost interest. But also don’t want to be annoying

Have you been getting responses from your emails? I’ve emailed my rep twice now but he didn’t respond either time.
No responses either here, so maybe I shouldn’t send a follow up email 
I got the same thing. I think they’re just saying we can transfer in a year , which is the usual transfer process ):
I know this isn’t the decision we wanted, but we’re all great students and people. We’ll do exceptional things regardless of where we are. We got this!! Wishing everyone the best of luck, and to those on other Cornell waitlists

My son is a CAS applicant and received the same letter.
It’s the same letter I got. So are there no transfer options?

We got the same letter. Don’t think it is a TO. I’d be very happy if someone corrects me.
Disappointed there is no TO or spring transfer.
It was not stated in the decision, but (someone please correct me if I’m wrong), I believe Cornell CAS does offer a Spring Transfer option. Because there was nothing stated in the portal, I can only assume that you have to create a new transfer application via Common App and re-apply that way once that application becomes available in the Fall semester
