Cornell?

I'm on the college search, and I really love Cornell, but I want other people's opinions about it. I'm thinking of either being an animal science/bio major and going to vet school, being a vocal performance major, or a premed major with the intent of focusing on neuro surgery as a resident.

I guess I'm just looking for opinions on Cornell in general, and on their animal science program, and any other potential suggestions.

Cornell’s Vet School has been ranked #1 in the country by US News for 4 consecutive years. Beautiful campus in a wonderful college town too.

Ha, geniustai, I didn’t even see that forum. Thanks!!

And behappy7, that’s sort of the impression I got, but I wanted to make sure I wasn’t making it all up so Cornell would fit exactly what I wanted (: Thanks!

Good luck DressageWhiz!

Thank you!!

Verse 1:
High Above Cayuga’s Waters/There’s an awful smell/
Some say its Cayuga’s Waters; I say it’s Cornell

Chorus:
Flush the toilets,
Flush the toilets,
Flush them all to hell!
Twenty-thousand SOBs
Call themselves Cornell.

Verse 2:
Oh, the odor. Oh, the odor. Oh, that awful smell
Before I’d go to Cornell; I’d rather go to hell.

Verse 3:
High above Cayuga’s waters /Some poor ■■■■■■■ fell /
Finals make me think of Gorges / jump for joy Cornell

Verse 4:
Far above Cayuga’s waters/ Stand the gates of hell.
There five thousand sons of Belial/ Call themselves Cornell.

Ha, it appears that you’re not a fan of Cornell. Would you mind telling me why? I like to be able to hear both sides of the story- but please say it nicely (:

DressageWhiz, I have an older sibling at Cornell, and I highly recommend the school. It is a wonderful place! Academics are stellar, especially for sciences, and you definitely will get a good foundation for vet or med school. My sibling has also been very happy with the social life, food, and housing. All around, it’s a happy place with academic rigor and offers good undergrad experience! Plus, when you see the campus, it will take your breath away.
