Your ECs and GPA are strong but your ACT, SAT, and volunteering are weak. If you have the opportunity to take one of them again (whatever one you liked best) I would. Best of luck!

Being a female in the realm of engineering will definitely help! Try to raise your ACT/SAT and I’d say you have a pretty good shot  chance me back?

I think your volunteer stuff is fine, so long as you somehow play up the service trip through an essay or detailed description on the common app. You definitely need to improve your scores though, as ChemE is very competitive there. It’s a high reach for you right now.

Chance me? <a href=“FINAL Chance Me! CMU, Cornell, WashU, others - Chance Me / Match Me! - College Confidential Forums”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1689784-final-chance-me-cmu-cornell-washu-others-p1.html</a></p>

I’d say that being a female definitely gives you an edge. especially considering that your GPA and ECs are great. Anyone have time to look over mine?

Ok, so I’m retaking both the SAT and ACT again in October (but I think I’m only going to submit my ACT scores). I’m hoping to get a 33 or 34. What else would people suggest?
