Cornell's Admission Decision for Fall'08

When do Cornell transfer applicants receive their admission decision for the fall of 2008? I know it says no later than May on the website. I was wondering if I submitted my applications by Feb 15th, could I receive the admission decision by mid-March? Anyone?

Thanks!!!

Are you sure you applied to Cornell University, not the other Cornell College? the deadline for Cornell University was Jan 1, and decision is most likely Mar 31. Only rolling admissions will be out mde Feb or Mar.

Cornell_freak is talking about transfer admissions, which follows a different timetable than first-year admissions.

You've probably already checked the undergraduate admissions site, but it says that admissions decisions and financial aid rewards are given in May and June. Nothing about earlier notification. However, I think transfer admissions might be the same as first-year admissions in that the arrival of your decision also depends on what college you're applying to. Some colleges do rolling decisions. I couldn't find specific dates, but I think it may be possible to hear a little earlier.

I know that for CALS....the earliest you will find out is around mid/late April. I applied for transfer....had my application submitted by January...mid-semester grades were in by March but I didn't hear until the first week of May.

Good luck!
