"we have more i-bankers than any other school coming out of AEM besides Wharton, and tons of top firms come to Cornell to recruit every fall"

Where are you getting this info. from? Stern and Wharton produce more wall st. analysts than any school...HYP are also up there, not sure about AEM at Cornell though.

Well, AEM has a large presence on Wall Street. I am not sure of the numbers so I can't compare it to other schools, but during a recruiting info session for either CSFB or Lehman Brothers (i cant remember which), they have more employees from Cornell than any other school, with over 120 at their New York office. Goldman Sachs said that Cornell is the number 2 school that they recruit from.

I hope this give you some perspective as to how Cornell is view on Wall Street. It is completely untrue for someone to say that recruiters don't come to Cornell. For info sessions and interview periods, these companies spend a great deal of money flying a dozen or so employees up to meet the students, paying for their hotel stays, and offering food during all these events. Don't worry about AEM's or Cornell's reputation on The Street...it is very well respected.

Well, congrats lessbushmoretrees on your acceptance. I must say I'm surprised you got in with those stats, but numbers really aren't everything. I'm not a big fan of the flaming liberalism that your name implies either, but w/e, I'm no bush-lover, that's for sure, lol.
