I am interested in transferring to Cornell (my dream school) and was wondering how many upperclassmen actually stay in the on-campus housing. I noticed the percentage was 60% of all undergrads but I was wondering if they almost try to force you off to make more room or that sort of thing. Other colleges comparable to Cornell are usually much higher which I think is the one downside I have but I'll just have to visit and see.

West Campus is predominantly sophomores.

I'm pretty sure ur gauranteed housing as a transfer. The percentage isn't the highest just because lots of upperclassmen move into collegetown or into frats/sororities. West campus def has a pretty large amount of upperclassmen tho (lots of sophomores and juniors...then just some seniors). They are building 2 more buildings on West too so who knows wat the future will bring.

ok thanks alot!

when and how should a freshmen start to be aware of their housing for their sophmore year??
heard a bunch of present sophomores just didnt get their hosuing smoothly..they had went through alot inorder to get what they are living right now..
any advice??

and does any one know when the 2 new buildings on West Campus are going to be finished?

August 2008.
