Has anyone heard when Cornerstone applicants will be notified??

Nobuddies????

what's Cornerstone?

It's a liberal arts honors learning community, which in real words means that it's a small group of students (20ish,) who work closely with the Assistant Dean. The first semester, it is a one hour class with guest lecturers from the liberal arts faculty, the second semester it is a 3 hour class. The students choose a location for a trip either over Christmas or spring break (that is heavily subsidized by the honors office) and study the history extensively and then do a research project on the related topic of their choice. Oh, and it's tons of fun.

But sorry Berly, because I have no idea when y'all will hear back...

relientr- my son got accepted into Cornerstone! WooHoo!!! He's for sure gonna be at A&M next year now. He was deciding on U.T. Honors and Cornerstone (if he got in), and he did get in so it's A&M for him!!!

YAYYY! Congratulations to him!!! He's going to love it so much! I'm so glad this all turned out well for you guys...

Thanks so much!!! Will you be in it next year as well??? He will be attending NSC June 1 & 2 so hopefully he will get some good classes and profs.

Oh good... I didn't register until late, so it was especially hard to find classes. That will help him out a lot. I plan on it, but for us it's going to be an 8 in the morning (I am NOT a morning person :-P ) so I'll see how it goes. LOL
