<p>I was wondering if anyone knows how many people were coronat scholars last year? I got invited to apply which i am SO HAPPY about because SU is my #1, but i keep freaking out because i feel like there's no way that I woud be so lucky to get this scholarship. I read somewhere that it was like 25 people which would be great but idk if thats right?</p>

<p>I got invited to apply also! I’ve been working on my essays nonstop, Syracuse wasn’t my first choice but I could never pass this opportunity up. I know a few people who have gotten it and they said that about 100 people are invited and 35 are finalists</p>

<p>mc5800 – last year they did notify all the finalists on the same day, but I don’t know about the process for this year. Good luck to your D!</p>

<p>HI my son is a coronat scholar currently at Syracuse. They sent out 125 applications and will be sending out 20-30 to come up and compete. They usually take around 20. If you have any questions let me know and good luck</p>

<p>Syracusemom- do you know if the “no’s” heard at the same time as the “yes’s”? If we haven’t heard should we assume she is not a finalist?</p>

<p>Syracusemom- we haven’t heard yet - should we assume my daughter is not a finalist ? I would think they would tell all the yes’s at the same time… Do you know when the rejection emails went out?</p>

<p>I honestly dont know I knw my son said they were going out the last week of Feb so I would wait another day or so, dosent seem like alot have heard. Good luck. Im not sure how the others are notified.</p>
