It offers a full ride scholarship including one semester abroad and summer research funding. However, applying requires 2200 words of essays.

Hey, I received an invitation to apply for the Coronat Scholarship also. Syracuse isn't my top school, but this scholarship would make it hard to turn down!

I got a thin envelope in the mail today. I didn't get the Coronat Scholarship :( I was, however, admitted to syracuse with a $64,000 scholarship. I doubt I will attend.

Yes, they both came in the same envelope. It had a single sheet of paper that said I didn't get the schoarship but had been admitted to Syracuse.

Congratulations to those of you who are in the running for a Coronat scholarship. A quick question: Is this scholarship exclusively for applicants to the College of Arts and Sciences? Or have any of you applied to dual enrollment programs (e.g. Arts and Sciences and Newhouse)?
