i have always assumed my career would sort of funnel into the business world given that this is what everyone in my family has done for a living, but recently i have started to notice that law might better suit my interests and strengths. (im creative in the sense that i can think outside the box but im no artist. i generally emphasize logic in my thinking and writing vs. artistry-the type of writing that gets As in poli sci and Bs in english. i am a math/econ major. i want an exciting job but am not a huge risktaker-i love math and really any job that involves numbers/problem solving would be exciting enough for me. im also very helpful by nature and love sharing my ideas to help other people with their projects, something i believe would take a lawyer places but would get a businessman taken advantage of)

anyway i am most interested in corporate law, particularly private equity, venture capital and entrepenurial law. being that everyone i know is in business, i really have a very basic idea of what these fields are or what they entail. im wondering if there are any lawyers out there reading this that might be able to give me a better idea as far as the tasks of corporate lawyers that specialize in these areas, their hours, salary, and any advice you might have for an interested undergraduate like myself would be greatly appreciated.
