<p>If you receive a Corporate Scholarship and plan to attend a school that doesn't participate in the National Merit Scholarship program, do you still need to list the school as your first choice by May 1?</p>

<p>I didn't think that you would have to but I'm not sure how else they would know the school that you are attending.</p>

<p>You don’t get the scholarship directly - it goes to the school first. So, yes, you have to list your school or you can’t receive the scholarship.</p>

<p>Some schools still offer to match the corporate scholarship, which is really nice.</p>
